there are times when i just get so overwhelmed or stressed that i just need to clean. i did some serious reorganizing in my classroom today (it was much needed) and felt so good about it that my attitude came home with me.
i’m already slightly obsessive compulsive about my organization, and my room has just been absolutely positively neglected the last week or two. i normally get my chance to spruce up on the weekend, but with dance marathon last weekend that definitely didn’t happen!
literal thoughts when i walked in my door: i can’t live like this anymore.
ergo, i had to clean.
i busted out the lysol wipes, did my dishes, took out my trash/recycling, vacuumed, and then got to watch my regular thursday night nbc comedies, parks and recreation and the office. overall, not too bad of an evening.
don’t you just feel better when things are clean and in order?!
