so what does it mean to be victorious? to live victoriously?
“…for everyone born of God overcomes the world. this is the victory that has overcome the world, even out faith. who is it that overcomes the world? only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.” –1 john 5:4-5
i have the power to overcome this world and all of its negativity; however, this power is not of my own strength. i am able to trust God and have hope through Him, along with power and assurance that once He starts something, He will surely see it come into fruition. i am bold for this very reason. why?
“but thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 corinthians 15:57)
thanks be to God. He gives us victory through Christ. amen.
living victoriously — that is my mission for my life right now. my mantra, if you will. i will put my faith in God’s plan for me and know that he will pull me through until the end of the game and i will be triumphant.
i choose to live victoriously. what will you choose?
