writing and words have always played a big part in my life. when i was a kid, i used to carry around a notepad and a pen everywhere i went (i admit, i’m still guilty of this). as a college student, part of my morning ritual involves working on the university newspaper’s crossword puzzle daily (i only use pen — yes, i’m a crossword snob). i’ve always kept diaries and journals and now use this blog as an outlet for my thoughts.
well, all of this focused passion in writing is actually getting me somewhere.
at the beginning of the week i was asked to blog for alloy education’s new website. a friend of mine has a sister who is in charge of recruiting student bloggers and i was more than happy to accept. i’ll be blogging regularly about christianity in a collegiate setting. i sent my first piece in just yesterday and cannot wait to get more posts written!
note: if anyone has any suggestions for what they’d like to see about christianity and college, please let me know — i am always open to new ideas!
i can’t believe i’m writing for a blog that is run by a major magazine branch. i’m living this writer lifestyle with deadlines and an editor and am loving it (yes, i like deadlines) and cannot wait to see where this awesome opportunity takes me!
